Fillmore's City Bulletin Board

I’m sure you’ve all heard the news of the City’s Bulletin Board. It’s now up and running and I would invite you to sign up and participate. I’ve been assured by Bill Bartels that the board is going to be a place where OPEN discussions will take place no matter what your stance on the issue is. Registration is required but you do not have to use a name that identifies, just a unique username. If at anytime I feel the city is using the board to portray one side of an issue and gain an unfair advantage then my participation will end. I’m hoping you will at least check it out and give it a test drive. What do you have to lose, your opinion?

Look yourself up, or anyone else for that matter. If you really want to be concerned spend the $40.

I’ve also posted this on:

Don’t see the post? I’d have to ask why?

Tom, I signed up.It might be a little too early but there seems to be not much in the way of responses (except yours). How does one become a moderator, and how are they picked? I know of one moderator that I feel is biased and a polarizing personality.(thats only my biased opinion)

It's early and we can only wait and see what happens.

Contact Bill Bartels and express your interest in becoming a moderator.

Bill is VERY strong in his desire for both sides to have their say and be heard in an open forum.

All should read the City Bulletin.
You'll learn that Ken Smedley is living on another planet.
He thinks we should dredge or mine the Sespe Creek to lower the Creeks bed. With all the time he sat on the Council, he didn't learn a thing about how the City runs side by side with Nature. Then again look at the over building that has taken place.
Going back, Smedley does not mention State or Federal guidelines and their responsibility as well as other government agency responsibilities for the Levee.
NO!!! He just wants to endanger the wild life and devastate what natural habit that is there. He states it is not the Cities responsibility. Even though The City approved all those Houses built along the Sespe Creek.
Who is responsible for the safety of the Citizens of Fillmore?
Ken Smedley passes the buck!!!
