What Happened to the Pool?

I have a very close friend who is the Aquatics Director for a high school to the north. The school had a similar situation to Fillmore, pool had fallen into disrepair and eventually abandoned. Once the decision was made to construct a new pool they were swimming within 18 months.

Are there legal issues holding this up or is grant monies?

I'd have to respectfully disagree. We do need another park, if you've ever gone past Shields on the weekend it usually packed. A park will provide many options for recreation. I think a pool is also a good idea but maintenance costs will hound it for the pools lifespan. When was the original pool built and when was it shut down?

property owners have been paying for the imaginary pool for a year now. I think they are using our money to build it. Also the property owners should be the only ones to vote on stuff like that since they are the ones to pay for it!!!
