To Mr. All Caps,
If you don’t like this blog, why do you insist on coming back? Do you feel threatened by this blog? I’m sure you are an intelligent person and if you have an alternative viewpoint perhaps you could take the time to express yourself in a manner that is consist with your actions in public.

For the sake of discussion, if there is a Furman and Associates. What would be the difference between F&A an http://www.campbellpublicaffairs.com/home.htm? Can you provide at least a website for F&A?

Gayle it is interesting that you seem to screen those that may have an opinion about what you your group are stating, but when it comes to bashing Rodger Cambell, Steve Conway, Cicilia, The City Staff, etc.... you seem to allow them free rain. This is hypocracy, either you play by your rules or you don't but DO NOT SIT THERE AND THINK YOU ARE FOOLING ANYONE. Stop the BS and start being true to your own word, screen any comment that bashes another person. Stop allowing strife and discrimination to run rampant throughout your blog.

That was a good one Tom!

I searched for this F & A and only found an Antique Dealer.

Tell me something. If Mr. All Caps can't control himself, why don't you block him completely?
This site would be so much nicer.
I blog at other sites and when one does not respect others or the rules they are blocked completely.
Admin. makes sure that particular person can't access the Blog.

Bashing of Mr. Campbell, Mr. Conaway, Ms. Cuevas and City Staff? (Please note I took the time to spell their names correctly)

Please point to the recent comments that have "bashed" the above mentioned people and I will remove them.

Mr. all caps knows that decent people don't call others names they don't tell lies and they don't respond to bullies. But he keeps trying to pickpickpick until you want to call him names and impolitely tell him to shut up. We've all been so polite.

And where is the bashing that Tom asked for?

GOSH! Mr All Caps.

What do you say we prove it? We could tie those you would like to test for your proof to a chair, we could then weigh the chair down with a couple hundred pounds of weights, throw the chair into deep water and if the perpetrator floated they would be innocent.

Is your family from the east coast originally? Say around Salem, Massachusetts?

Hey The Furman Group looks pretty darn good. Please do check out their website.

"The Furman Group has assisted the West Basin Municipal Water District in California in obtaining nearly $100 million in Federal funding for the construction and expansion of the West Basin Water Recycling Facility."

They have case studies that you can download and read. They even have their client list on their site, lot's of government agencies.

Pretty interesting stuff.

Perhaps City Staff could invest a phone call and a little time to them?

Special Intersts?
http://www.campbellpublicaffairs.com

What's the difference?

I'm sure the citizens of Fillmore would be in SHOCK to know that someone is working with a company that was able to obtain million in Federal money for the same thing Fillmore is facing.

OH MY GOD THE HORROR!

Run for the hills, get out the pitch forks, call the newspapers!

The Furman Group does look pretty good. If you actually READ what their website says they have been fairly successful obtaining federal money. I’m going to send an email to the City Council members asking them to at least look into this!

Outstanding work ALL CAPS! A tip of the hat in your direction!

Mr. All Caps,

I really like your idea about contacting the papers with your concerns regarding The Furman Group. I have the utmost confidence that Ms. Egedi and Mr. Farrell would adhere to their professional standards and check your sources and then provide an unbiased reporting of their findings. From the surface The Furman Group appears to provide similar services as Mr. Campbell but only on a larger scale.

Lobbying is a concerted effort designed to achieve some result, typically from government authorities and elected officials. It can consist of the outreach of legislative members, public actions (e.g. mass demonstrations), or combinations of both public and private actions (e.g. encouraging constituents to contact their legislative representatives). As a professional occupation it is also known as "government affairs" or "public affairs". Practitioners may work in specialist organizations or as part of government relations or as public relations consultancies.

If we apply your logic to Mr. Campbell then what your saying is he has no right to practice his profession in Fillmore. I don’t think that is a realistic viewpoint, do you?
